Our client is a Government organisation under the Ministry of Finance. It is a Government backed investment fund set up nearly 30 years ago. It was established to manage the investments of the reserves of the Sultanate of Oman. The fund is owned by the Sultanate of Oman.

They are now looking for a Head of Treasury to join their team.

This is a new division and a new role with the aim to develop a Treasury strategy and business plan, which supports the achievement of Investment & Treasury functions and the wider strategic aims of the company.

They are looking for someone with experience of managing the full treasury function with knowledge of treasury instruments, product & market developments. This person will be responsible for managing all the funding requirements of this business.

This person should also have knowledge of world economies and regional markets and be well versed in the "language" of treasury function management.

They are also looking for someone with strong leadership, management skills and team building skills.
